📖 A Household of Many Ties
When Daniel was twelve, his parents became divorced. It was a difficult time, but he soon learned that family can grow in unexpected ways. His mother later remarried, and Daniel gained a stepfather named Richard. Richard was kind and always showed great care, teaching Daniel that respect was the foundation of every household.

The room buzzed with laughter. Emma teased him about always eating too quickly, Sophie joked with Richard, and Anna spoke again about their ancestors. Even his mother-in-law, often thought of as formal, joined in with warmth.
For Daniel, it was proof that family was never defined only by blood. A stepfather could become a role model, a stepmother could become a friend, a sister-in-law could feel like a sister, and even the memory of an ancestor could bring a family closer together.
