📖 The Astronaut’s Journey Through the Universe
Tom had always dreamed of being an astronaut. As a child, he would lie on the grass at night, looking up at the sky, counting every star he could see. He wondered what it would be like to fly beyond the atmosphere, to leave the earth and travel across the universe.
Now, as a grown man, his dream had come true. Dressed in a heavy white suit, he climbed into the spaceship. The powerful rocket engines roared to life, and in no time, the ship was racing upwards with great speed, leaving the blue sky behind.
Through the window, Tom saw the earth grow smaller and smaller. The sun shone brightly in the black universe, while distant stars twinkled like tiny lights. He was amazed at the distance between the planets. Even travelling so fast, it would take days to reach the moon.
When the spaceship finally landed, Tom stepped onto the grey ground. The moon was quiet, cold, and very dark on one side, while the other side glowed from the light of the sun. He looked back and saw the earth shining like a blue jewel in the sky.
But Tom’s journey was not only to the moon. His mission was to explore a new planet, far beyond. He entered the rocket again and set a course across the endless universe. The distance was great, but the spaceship could fly with incredible speed.
Days passed. The time felt slow, but Tom kept his eyes on the glowing stars outside his window. He thought about the thin line of the atmosphere that protects the earth, and how lucky humans are to live there. The universe was beautiful, but also empty and very dark.
At last, he saw it: a red planet shining ahead. His heart raced. As the spaceship landed, dust rose into the sky. He stepped out and felt the strange ground under his boots. There was no air, no sound—just silence and the sun shining weakly through the thin atmosphere.
Tom planted a flag to mark his arrival. He knew this planet was far away, but it could one day be a new home for people from the earth. He looked up at the endless stars, thinking about the long distance he had travelled.
The astronaut smiled. The universe was wide and full of secrets, and this was only the beginning. With his spaceship waiting, he was ready to fly again—faster, further, to places no one had ever seen.
For in space, there is no end—only more time, more speed, and more adventures across the universe.
