📖 The Big School Day

It was Monday morning, and Daniel put on his school uniform. He looked in the mirror and smiled. Today was not just an ordinary day. There would be a big exam, a new project, and even a sports activity in the gym. He took a deep breath and said, “I’m ready to learn.”

When he entered the classroom, he saw the big blackboard at the front. Miss Taylor had already written the day’s plan in clear white chalk. The first lesson was spelling. Daniel liked spelling because he could often answer the hardest question in class. Sometimes he even helped his friends when they didn’t know how to write a word.

“Let’s begin,” said Miss Taylor. She pointed to the blackboard. “Can anyone read this word aloud?” Daniel raised his hand quickly. He gave the right answer, and Miss Taylor nodded with approval.

After spelling, they moved to geography. Daniel opened his book and began to study the map of Africa. He had a question about one of the countries, so he asked it politely. Miss Taylor smiled and explained with great knowledge, making it easy to learn. Daniel felt proud when he could later write a short report about the rivers and mountains he had seen on the map.

Later in the morning, the students took out their colourful crayons. They were asked to make posters for their new project about “Our World.” Daniel loved drawing with a crayon. He wrote some short notes on the paper and coloured the map in bright shades. His project would later become part of a class display.

But the most important moment came before lunch—the big exam. Everyone sat quietly, dressed neatly in their uniforms, pencils ready. Daniel felt nervous, but he reminded himself, “I have studied. I can do this.” The questions were not easy, but he thought carefully and tried to write the best answers he could. Some were short, but one was like a small report, where he had to show what he had learned.

When the bell rang, it was time for the gym. Daniel ran, jumped, and played games with his friends. The morning stress from the exam melted away. The fun in the gym made him feel light and happy again.

At the end of the day, Miss Taylor gave them feedback. She said, “You have all worked hard today. Your knowledge is growing, and your reports, projects, and answers show it clearly.”

Daniel walked home smiling. He had read, written, and studied. He had asked questions, given answers, and even drawn with a crayon. It had been a full day of school, and he knew that every moment helped him learn a little more.
