📖 The Pirate’s Secret Map

The black flag of the Black Gull waved high above the old ship as it cut through the dark sea. On deck stood Captain Blake, a tall man with a loud voice and a red coat. His green parrot sat on his shoulder, squawking “Treasure! Treasure!” again and again.

The crew were tired, but they trusted their captain. In his hands was an old map, showing the way to an island far across the ocean. The map promised gold and silver, hidden long ago by another pirate.

“Raise the sails!” cried Blake. The men worked quickly, pulling ropes and lifting the white cloth. The ship began to sail faster, chasing the wind. A small boat was tied to the side, ready in case they needed to land on shallow waters.

Days passed, and the ocean stretched endlessly around them. The crew sang songs of gold, silver, and secret caves. The parrot joined in with its noisy voice, making the men laugh. At night, the captain sat alone with the map, studying every line. “Somewhere on that island is the key to our future,” he whispered.

At last, after many long nights on the open sea, the ship reached land. A green island rose before them, covered with trees. The men lowered the boat and rowed to the sandy beach. The parrot flew ahead, shouting, “Treasure! Gold! Silver!”

The crew followed the captain, holding the map. They climbed rocks, crossed rivers, and cut through thick leaves. After hours of walking, they found a cave. Inside, they saw a chest with a heavy lock.

“This is it,” said Captain Blake. “But where is the key?”

The men searched the cave. One sailor found a small hole in the wall. Inside was a rusty key, hidden for years. They brought it to the chest, and with a loud click, it opened.

The chest was full of gold coins and shining silver cups. The men shouted with joy. The parrot danced on the lid, screaming, “Treasure! Treasure!”

The crew carried the chest back to the boat, then onto the ship. As they raised the black flag once more, Captain Blake smiled. “This is only the beginning,” he said. “The sea is wide, and there are more maps, more islands, and more treasure waiting for us.”

And so the pirate ship set sail again, the brave crew, the clever captain, and the noisy parrot, ready for the next adventure on the open ocean.
