📖 The Numbers of the Treasure Map
Oliver was sixteen when his adventure began. On his birthday, his grandfather gave him an old map. “This map,” he said, “has been in our family for seventeen generations. It leads to a treasure hidden long ago.”
Oliver could not believe it. The map was covered with strange numbers: eighteen, nineteen, twenty, and even twenty-one. Each number seemed to mark a step on a secret journey.
At eighteen, Oliver climbed a tall hill. At nineteen, he crossed a small river. At twenty, he walked through a forest of tall trees. Then at twenty-one, he reached a stone gate.
On the gate were more numbers: thirty, forty, and fifty. He pushed the gate, and it opened. Inside, he found a long path. Every stone on the ground was numbered. He counted sixty steps forward, then seventy more, and finally eighty steps until he reached a large cave.
The cave was dark, but on the wall, he saw the number ninety written in gold. Below it was a message: “Take one hundred breaths, and the treasure will appear.” Oliver stood still and breathed slowly. After his hundredth breath, the ground began to shake.
The cave opened to reveal a secret chamber. Inside were not only coins, but also books and jewels. The writing on the wall said: “This treasure is worth more than a thousand coins, more than a million dreams. It belongs to those who have the courage to follow the numbers.”
Oliver smiled. He was no longer just a boy of sixteen. He had completed the journey through seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty, and even twenty-one. He had walked the path of thirty, forty, fifty, sixty, seventy, eighty, and ninety. He had waited for the hundredth breath, and he had found the treasure worth a thousand coins and a million hopes.
From that day on, Oliver shared the treasure with his village. Everyone had food, books, and clothes. The people said, “This is worth more than a million coins, because it gives us happiness.”
Oliver kept the map, but not for himself. He gave it to a young boy, also sixteen, and whispered, “When you are ready, follow the numbers. The treasure will always wait for those who believe.”
