📖 Anna’s Holiday Journey

Anna had been dreaming about her summer holiday for months. She wanted her trip to be full of adventure, and now the day had finally come. With her bag packed, her passport ready, and her ticket safely in her hand, she set off for the airport.

The bus to the city was crowded, and Anna kept checking the map to make sure she would not miss her stop. She laughed to herself, thinking how this small journey on the bus was only the beginning of her much bigger journey across the sea.

At the airport, she looked around at the long lines of passengers waiting. Some looked tired, some looked excited, but all of them carried at least one bag. Anna joined the queue at the check-in gate, handed over her passport, and received her boarding pass.

Soon, she found her gate and sat down, looking out the big window at the planes. She imagined the pilot inside, checking controls and preparing for the flight. Anna smiled at the thought that in a short while she would be in the sky herself, looking out from her own window seat.

When it was time to board, the friendly crew welcomed the passengers. Anna found her seat next to the window, just as she had hoped. She pressed her face close to the glass, watching the ground grow smaller as the flight took off.

The pilot spoke over the speakers, giving information about the weather and the length of the journey. Anna felt calm, knowing that the pilot was experienced and that she was in safe hands.

Hours later, the plane landed smoothly, and Anna walked through the busy airport in a new country. She showed her passport again at control and then collected her bag from the carousel.

Outside, she needed to find her way to the hotel, so she took a bus first and then a train. She looked at her map, tracing the line of the tracks and smiling at how many different kinds of trips she had taken in just one day: by bus, by plane, and now by train.

Finally, she reached her hotel. Tired but happy, Anna opened the window of her room and looked out at the city lights. Her holiday had only just begun, and already her journey had given her stories to tell. She placed her passport and ticket safely on the table, ready for the adventures that tomorrow would bring.
